The National Steinbeck Center offers unique programs all year long that are designed for all ages and backgrounds. These programs bring the legacy of John Steinbeck to life through the creative arts, and through community engagement.
Programs include lectures, films and panel discussions about Steinbeck, history and agriculture; authors talks, art openings and receptions; community-based events such as a Day of the Dead celebration, the popular Kids Club, in which children perform and interact with local artists to explore their own creativity; and the annual Steinbeck Festival.
National Steinbeck Center members receive advance notice of special events and complimentary or discounted admission to programs. Please visit the Calendar of Events for a complete listing.
