Clay Jenkinson- Listening to America

We had the pleasure of hosting Clay Jenkinson for our inaugural Cars & Culture Event on August 10th, 2024. He is just a bit more than halfway through his mission of retracing the tire tracks of John Steinbeck and Charley. That trip was over 2 months in 1960 and the wonderful novel Travels With Charley was the result. But there are many behind the scenes facts that many don’t know about and Clay’s wonderful presentation gave us that information as well as what he has learned, so far, on this journey. He’s still has about a third of the journey to complete and he will be back here next June to give us the final update. We hope you will enjoy his presentation and insights.
