The National Steinbeck Center is partnering with Mémorial de Caen in Normandy to mark the 80th anniversary of the landings at Normandy on D-Day. Their exhibit “Dawn of the American Century: 1919-1944” is a tribute to the cultural, political, and social backgrounds of the Americans who landed on Utah Beach and Omaha Beach so many decades ago.
